Hilario S. Cruz was welcomed into the heavenly kingdom Sunday, September 3, 2017, while being surrounded by his loving family. He was a very caring, loving, and giving man who believed in the power of prayer. He had a great sense of humor and loved music and cars. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father Ventura Cruz, his brother Jesus Cruz, and his son Larry Cruz. Hilario S. Cruz was welcomed into the heavenly kingdom Sunday, September 3, 2017, while being surrounded by his loving family. He was a very caring, loving, and giving man who believed in the power of prayer. He had a great sense of humor and loved music and cars. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father Ventura Cruz, his brother Jesus Cruz, and his son Larry Cruz. He is survived by his mother Santos Cruz, his loving wife Diana Candelaria, his children Candace Cruz and Christopher Cruz, daughters Elaine Cruz, and Hillary Martinez, son Michael Cruz, and stepson Jaime Heredia, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild , 5 sisters and 2 brothers, and of course his faithful 4 legged companion Lennon Cruz. Pallbearers: Christopher Cruz, Michael Cruz, Larry Cruz-Cooper, David Macias, Josh Macias, Lupe Ramos. Honorary Pallbearers: Billy Borrego, Danny Borrego. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8th at Templo Elim 1580 Fabens Rd., Fabens Tx., 79838, Visitation will be from 2-6 pm services begin at 7 pm. On Saturday, September 9th, Mass begins at 11 am with interment to follow at Evergreen East Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
